I believe my pumpkin may be a bit on the short side. After looking at all of the other pumpkin measurements coming in mine is a bit light on the circumfrence. It is high and a beautiful shape. I hardly noticed it being short inside its protective structure. I was just wondering if traditionally if everyones wheel shaped pumpkins weighed light or heavy? My present OTT is C- 121; SS-88; SB- 82

I had a wheel last year that grew on the stem side down. the blossom end stuck straight up towards the sky. It estimated to be about 350 lbs and went about 100 heavy.

wagon wheels almost always go heavey but seldon get large enough to be a real contendor at competetions. on the chart yours would be 508lbs so well likely go around 600lbs

Depends how you take the circ measurement especially if the fruit is tipped on its stem or blossom end.....wheels do tend to go to charts or heavier but there are cases of them going just as light as some regular to long shape fruit. Knocking on the fruit and listening to the sound is a good indicator of thickness in that particualar area of the fruit.

I have a wheel this year. It's estimated weight is 240lbs. I hope it will go heavy.

I had a "wheel" that grew on top of the main vine this year. Its OTT was about 200 pounds but it weighed 288. Happy growing
