As far as I remember there was a rising number of growers planting clones this season. Was it a satisfying experience or do you prefer a "plant with a stump"?
I ask because I´d like to make a clone for winter soon. Last year it failed for me.

If you go with the clones make sure you use a good systemic fungicide.

Steve, it was probably too late in September, I didn´t use a root stimulator in the planting box and the vine in front of the cut had too much water. I was advised to let it dry out to get new root growth in my box.
Maybe worth a second try, but the question is: can you expect a good female plant or stay with it as a pollinator next season?
