Hi fellow pumpkin growers!
What would be your best suggestion for a variety that's pretty tough and resists "rot". This year my "Prizewinners" appear to rot early on and it's not even close to Halloween yet. I'd like a fairly med/large variety (50-100 lbs) that can make it intact and store well either in the field or under cover for several weeks (or even months) after the vines have died. Thanks for your knowledgable suggestions. vgkg

I think this year's weather had a lot to do with the rot!

I grew casper pumpkins and I heard they store well and mine haven't rotted yet. They aren't very big but I suppose they could cross with a larger variety.
