I posted two close pictures of my pumpkin in the photo gallery. It is a very white fruit and it has some green spots. It seems that the green spots are growing every day. Can anyone tell me if it can be considered as a squash at the weighoff?
I realy hope it is a squash, because then i have a good chance of winning that competition.

I have the same thing going on with my white fruit. In the last week it has greened up in the ribs and blossom. According to the rules more than 25% green is a squash. If yours is like mine not a hint of orange. Shannon

Those are GPC rules but we all know that that fruit is a pumpkin, you can tell what it really is by the color of the rib bases. I would call what you have a pumpkin.
I'm pretty sure you can compete with that as a squash, depends on the weigh off.
