It worked. In summary this is a Patent application for a field used CO2 generator that is tied to weather vanes & computer controlled emitters. The applicant claims that a current year crop that is exposed to elevated CO@ levels will yield seeds of superior growth & quality in the following generation. See this clip
______Begin clip_________________________
Industrial Applicability
[0025] When seeds from plants which had been cultivated under the condition where the concentration of CO.sub.2 is higher than that of the standard atmosphere are collected as seeds for cultivation of the next generation and then used to grow plants of the next generation according to the present invention, improvement of seedling quality, and increase of wet weight or dry weight at each growth stage are observed in comparison to the case using seeds collected in the standard atmosphere, and the final yield remarkably increases as well. The present invention thus makes it possible to easily produce seeds for cultivation of the next generation with improved cultivation property and yielding property. ____End clip___________________________________-
The applicant claims reference also to Japanese patents of a similar nature as well as increase in yield of 20%. Cucurbits are included in the application.

A grower in the Pacific Northwest supplied CO2 to the roots of his AG plant. He is bringing his pumpkin to the Puyallup Fair this Friday. I have been told that it is of "great size"! :>)

Here's more.
Stan, I would be very interested to hear how he does. Can you try to find out the means by which he got the gas down there & how frequently?

no luck.. does this generator scavenge the air? and does it generate only when its windy?
wholesale dry ice might help,,,,, i tried some from 31 flavors,,but it was too expencive over all. and fattening!!lol if you want to see a horizontal windmill, you can build a solar chimney,, they use them in the south west i read. imagine a glass stack. the sun goes in and greats intence heat. back sides are black. the hot air rises and drags alot of air from below. this vents the house. some drive a small wind turbine. jaques coustoue(sp?) had a ship that had stacks,,,er airfoils,,,, that were hollow and drove wind generators. and that sent juice to the engines...

Five methods of enriching CO2.
1.) CO2 Generators. Burn fossil fuels. Cost unkown now. 2.) Bottle CO2 Gas 3.) Dry Ice 4.) Reaction. ie Vinegar & Baking soda 5.) Orgainc Decomposition (dont laugh - Sugar & Pee or yeast)

I have plans for a CO2 generator that uses molasses and yeast. Then again, I could just brew a batch of beer in a cloche. I can't share it here because Johnny Johnny had was not well received on this site. Oh well. I may want to get some seed from him for next year though.
