Just wondering who is still in, and how they're doing.
I'm currently at day 30 and a little over 200 pounds.

Looking at the records it appears there are still maybe ten left in the contest. FYI mine tapes at 301 lbs and hasn't grown in a long time. I have left it on the vine to help mature the seeds. I plan to remove and weigh it soon. It appears that we have lost many contestants for the simple fact that they did not follow the "post in your diary at a minimum of every three weeks rule".

Ripped my 840 out last week, it was "haunted" from the start! Pumpkin and entire stump rotted away. Also, have nothing for the squash contest. Count me out!

The pumpkin I set rotted so I just gave up on the plant because it wasn't producing any female blooms. Now there's a 200 lb pumpkin setting in the front yard! It has a bad split so I don't think it will grow any more. I sure wish I would have taken care of the plant. Dottie
