Is it big & round? Long & squat? Yellow or orange?
Deep rings or shallow rings? Long Stem or short stem?
What goes heavy on the scale?
I have two plants. One has long flat creamy fruit the
other orange & round? The charts don't describe which type of fruit will be heavier. I'm having a hard time trying to compare the two types. Is cc more accurate for long oval shaped fruit or OTT? The cc chart seems to run heavy for younger fruit. Does anyone out there know of a correlation between weight and all the fruit type variables with reference to fruit characteristics?

i dont think all the varibles have been/can be discovered. i belive shape is controlled by sun/water/food/genitics.
and i got white ones yellow ones.orange ones. all are about the same weight/size. but different in shape.

I like certain clothing lines because they make me think I am better off than I am. Most lines call for me to wear a 42 waist. Geese I found one that says 40 and it fits. That's of course the one who knows. All the other 42's are crazy.

The more men that eventually grow into these sizes the more accurate the pants sizes will become. I will, for now however, promise you that I will weigh heavy wearing my properly sized 40 pants. :)

For my own good the waist measurements only indicate losses, maintenance of present, or my God more growth.

Most likely pumpkin measurements indicate the same stuff. I'll have to be more observant. ]:o)

generally, and according to the Don Langevin Book # 2 i think, it seems that the lighter-colored fruit, such as 845 Bobier offspring and Kuhn 712 offspring seem to weigh heavier than they measure, and the fruit with the rougher complexion, which i think includes deeper ribs and knobs and bumps, will weigh heavier than one with the same measurements that you'd like to carve for your front porch as a beauty item. but the 1140 and the 1262 were really orange.....i think the 1230 Daletas measured a great deal more than it actually weighed---if you are or become an AGGC member you can research this perhaps...for whenever the activity runs thin on BP.Com! they go hand-in-hand! As far as I've heard and read (I have no previous experience), the next should suggest heavy:
Deep ribs, lighter colours, cantaloupe skin, blocky appearance, high shape over all in the shoulders.
But... the 950.4 Boyton had every one and went light. Ah!

another important aspect mentioned in book#2 is the taller the pumpkin 36" + the heavier it will weigh closer to the 36" right on less than well you get it. i've also found the more mishapen the pumpkin the more accurate the OTT. the more symetrical the more the tape will be accurate. pete
