In my spare time I have decided to organize a list of notes for The Serious Giant Pumpkin grower or the common pumpkin grower on growing tactics and tonics I have heard over the years. Feel free to tell which ones ( If any ) you use and why you use them.

1. Inject vines with milk.
2. Fertilize plants lightly every other day.
3.Bury all vines and stump.
4. Build a very large shade structure to allow more protection from the sun.
5. Folier feed with fertilizer every week.
6. Have a stash of lucky seeds.
7. Have a stash of lucky fertilizer from your first successful season.
8. Sit in your patch in a lawn chair under the shade structure with your best pumpkin and talk to your pumpkin. 9. Do a rain dance when needed.
10. Hang a picture of your best pumpkin where ever you can see it all or most of the time. To help keep you in the pumpkin growing mood year round.

Feel free to express your opinion or add to the list.

( Thank You )

You forgot about a lucky hat! No serious pumpkin grower steps into his/her patch without a lucky hat. The dirtier the better. If your hat attracts flies, your on your way to being a heavy hitter.

I import African Elephant's Mother's Milk. All other forms are just imitations or substitutes. Food from the largest living mamals for the largest growing pumpkins. Makes sense to me. I do tweak it up with 1/64th teaspoon, natural garlic oil per gallon, of Canadian Pure Water.

Hey doc, you ever try to milk a whale? It aint easy, and it's even harder to do it in a pumpkin patch. Have to watch the salt levels though.
