My pumpkin skin has numerous little blobs of sappy stuff that is oozing out. There doesn't seem to be any significant hole in the skin where it comes out. Is this normal, or do I need to do something? My pumkin is roughly 100" circ. and was polinated on July 16. Any advise appreciated!

The pumpkins do this as they "knit off" and mature, high heat seems to cause them to do this early.
Good luck.
