            | Maineiac | Maine | I'm a little freaked out about what looks like rot on the surface on my largest pumpkin: http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=13457
The dark areas are kind of soft but not mushy and the little round, dark areas look like common mold. We had a very rainy 10 days or so and I think the dampness got to it.

I'm really hoping that this disease or rot isn't coming from the inside out and is just some surface problem. I've sprayed it with daconil and dusted it with sulphur. Any other ideas on what it is and how to treat it? Thanks.
