I just gave all my plants leafs a nice spray of fish/seaweed mix. I need to know if I need to reapply it after are bad storm last night. I sprayed it on about 2-3 hours before the rain hit.
Thank you very much
Jeff

Jeff....if the leaves had a chance to dry you got all the action you can get that way. If not the application went to the ground anyway via the run off route. If it washed off go ahead and treat the leaves again.

I treat every day at one sixth the low rate per bottle label for a week. That is approximately one ounce per 1000 sq. ft. patch per week eased on in small doses.

The fertilizer going into the leaves travels about one foot per hour, in the plant, therefor, in a day or two, there is a nice easy flow from the leaf application and some from the ground runoff.

Just watch the leaves...if they start to show dark blue green back off on the fish until you leaves are a deep rich green. Fish is higher in nitrogen.

A very small percent of the total applied is actually absorbed by the leaves. Most will find it's way to the rootzone where the real work takes place anyway. Don't sweat it.
