I just jot back from the patch tour, and let me tell you, there are some BIG pumpkins out there. The Title is coming Back To Washington !!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a great experience to walk and tour the gardens of some of the finest AG growers in the world.

The "roll" down the Mettler's hill was fun to watch.

Those were some really great steaks @ the Roulst's. You couldn't have asked for any finer setting for a cookout - lake side seating.

Thanks again PNWGPGrowers. That was a great event.

A big thank you to everyone that helped to make the patch tour a big success. Special thanks to Stan, who generously allowed the entire group to wander through his patch. If I had pumpkins that looked like that I would have stood at the entrance with a shotgun! And to the Roulsts for such a great dinner. I had two steaks, drank some beer and then went fishing. Does it get any better than that? I think not.

It was amazing, to sit around talking pumpkins, with Joel Holland, Kirk Mombert, Lincoln Mettler, Geneva Emmons, Stan Pugh and so many more. What a fun day it was!

Boy, am I sorry I missed it. Just got back from a mandatory family vacation and was wiped out. To whomever set this up......Could you make it a yearly event? I'll look forward to info about it in the next snail mail newsletter.
