            | Urban Farmer (Frantz) | No Place Special | Can anyone tell me how to do the rain dance? Man oh man, it will be 14 days tomorrow withought any significant rain and I cant keep up watering. I have to fill a 350gal tank in the back of my truck and haul it to my remote patch. Im about burnt out on that now! Have you ever stood on one side of the street perfectly dry and watched it poor down rain on the other? That is how it has been for me the last week...... rain everywhere but ON my plants!!! I would pay $100 in cash for an inch of rain right now. | 8/8/2003 9:12:29 PM |

            | huffspumpkins | canal winchester ohio | Did you try the washing the car trick?......Or the plan a fishing trip one ? They ALWAYS work for me. And on the flip side we just had our 9th day in a row with severe weather. Haven't had a day with complete sunshine from morning to evening in about 3 weeks. In the past 7 days alone I've measured 5+" of rain at my place :(

            | Tiller | Sequim, WA | Start banging on a drum and dancing. When it starts to rain you can stop dancing. | 8/9/2003 2:51:50 AM |

            | Desert Storm | New Brunswick | Is there a reverse rain dance? It has rained here every day for weeks it seems. The farmers can't even get their haying done. Luckily, there were a few hot days the first 2 weeks in July and we got ours done then. I still water though as I am unsure just how much rain is enough. The humidity is awful. Not a whole lot of rain just enough to literally put a damper on things. | 8/9/2003 7:49:25 AM |

            | Don Quijot | Caceres, mid west of Spain | Hey Mike, I won't shed tears for you. My pumpkins only had three days of rain since they were transplanted.
We use to take some saints out in "procesion" when the weather is really dry. That means no rain for a whole year. Sometimes it has worked.

Best wishes for the best weather.........Don

            | docgipe | Montoursville, PA | Then there are those who doubted the effect of the full moon and Mars getting together appearing side by side for the first time in 5000 years. Yes indeed there may be some disturbing weather associated with any event that has never been up and working in the written history of man.
Mars and the moon get their act together shorly after 12 midnight tomorrow night. It has been said they will appear like automobile headlights with one glowing red while the moon remains normal.

Miss this tomorrow night and you can wait 5000 years to see it again.
