i just picked up some garden sulphur for my pumpkins. i found some rot on one of the leafs and inside were little orange headed worms. i sprayed with pesticide last eve, now im going to aply the garden sulphur but im not shure weather to dust it on or mix it. does anyone know? also would it be a good idea to make a water mixture and aply to all the pumpkin plants? what would be a good mix for that? im going to go see if i can find any more rotting areas. thanks everyone.

cheers,
mike

I know that the common 50% Flowable liquid sulfur is usually mixed at up to 1 oz per gallon for spraying on crops that tolerate sulfur.

Was this a dry powder you purchased?

hey steve, thanks for the reply. it is dry powder. i went ahead and put a very small amount where the rot was. still not shure weather i should aply to the rest of the plant(s) and if so, weather i should use the powder or a water mixture? its rained so much lately that im not shure anymore water is a good idea. i havent been giving any ferts for a while now becouse of this. but i might foilur feed them thismorn. anyway, if you have any input i would love to hear it. oh ya, i also picked up a little bottle of "no damp" you mix it with water to prevent seedlings from geting the rot. think it would do any good? says its safe for all plants. thanks again.

cheers,
mike
