Subject:  Pumpkin weight estimate versus age. Is this OK?

Pollinated on July 17th as near as we can figure. Bees did it.

Today side to side = 34 inches
Blossom end to stem = 38 inches
Overall circumfrence= 57 inches

Total OTT inches = 129

Acccording to the weight charts this pumpkin would be about 53 pounds. Is this OK for a 19 day old pumpkin? We can't measure it daily.

great for a elementary school patch... but not to
good for getting over a really big one...(over 500-600
lbs)

Not bad for kids on poor patch soil! I'm sure they are pleased with their baby that is getting big. It does not take near as much to please the kids. Great job to all who helped.

That's not bad at all. Should be on pace for 60 inches cc in 20 days, which indicates you should get something of decent size.
