YIKES! 1.74" of rain in 20 minutes for a 12 hour total of 3" with thunderstorms forecasted for every single day through Sunday. This boys & girls is prime disease weather.
Dust off those sprayers & find that fungicide! Any dry 3-5 hour period is prime pickings if you can find it. Watch rates & temps though!

Hey Steve can you shut the water off please. I'm in the same boat as you (no pun intended) All of my covered vines are now uncovered. I don't mind the rain it's the downpours that keeps things flooded and as you might know that's what it keeps doing is downpouring. I don't think we will get that 3-5 hour period but I have my fingers crossed. Stay Dry.....Flora

Just got done respraying my fungicide (half rate). For all the soil that got tossed up on the plants during the down pours I thought the damn squirrels had taking to harvesting females again. Unbelieveable!

Wish I could Flora.

That low pressure system was sitting over the great lakes for 5 days and dumped almost a foot of rain on Appleton, Wi. Now its moving east, finally. I bought a pump yesterday and pumped out may backyard. I estimate that I removed 9,960 gallons over a 8 hour period. The only leaves that showed water stress were the older, brown edged leaves. I've been spraying Daconil every 4 days, 2 tsp./gallon. Dean o

Well Dean it looks like a fair part of the Great Lakes is now on the ground here in CT. Another quarter inch down pour that lasted all of 20 minutes delayed my weeding attempts at the school. It's so wet I'm not even going to check the rain guages till tomorrow. The 4 incher in the patch looks nearly full but the boards are floating & I never was very good at surfing.
