any Ontario growers out there???....hows the pumpkins commin along....got to babies I just got sunday and the vines are going nuts....just wanted to know how everyone else in the area is doing..........let me know

I am located 3 hrs. north of you. Lindsay/Peterboro area. Pumpkins are coming along as best as can be expected with the cool weather. I am growing 3 plants and they have mostly outgrown their areas. There are 2 pumpkins on each plant and will be culling in the next couple days. Largest pumpkin is 74" cir., but the others are about the size of basketballs. How are your growth rates doing? hey guys, mike from arnprior,ont. this is my first year growing ag's, but i would say my 4 plants are doing very well.they took over my hole garden. i dont have any mesurments to give out yet. its been raining on and off the past few so ive been trying to stay of the wet soil as much as posible so not to pack it. my best pumpkin is about the size of a big watermelon you would get at the grocery store... come to think of its the same shape aswell.it was hand pollinated july 14. the rest are round and almost soccer ball sized and smaller, but not as old. i will post the mesurements when i get them. well better go ttake one more walk around the patch before its dark. good luck.
