            | 5150 | ipswich, ma usa | I'm interested in how long people allow their main vines to get before they terminate? Mine is out about 35 feet. I feel I may need to termintate it soon in order to direct more energy to the pumpkin on the main. It's amazing to see a secondaries leaf size increase once it has been terminated. I have a "rear main" that has larger leaves and a larger pumpkin than my main because i snipped off the tip a week ago. Just curious.

            | The Professor | Gloucester, MA | I plan to terminate at about 30 feet, if and when it gets there. Nothing scientific, will just run out of room. | 7/25/2003 2:06:07 PM |
