Have a great plants going now with several prospects pollinated on each.
Two of my main stumps have new small vines emerging. Cull or keep for energy production? Thanks all.

No expert but I would keep em...I've been watching mine wondering where the little stump vines are...As the plant get older the first leaves age and drop off...leaving the stump exposed to the sun...my last two years of growing the plant always tried to replace this foilage with small "stump vines" for lack of a better term to cover the area the old leaves vacate...Maybe someone with a lot more experience then me will help both us out on this one...

Cut them off you should allsow cut the leaves off that are around your stump to keep it dry and to check for vine bores. I lost a nice plant last year because I couldn't see my stump and a vine bore got in and I didn't know it.
