Is anyone doing a daily or weekly treatment to the skin of their pumpkins to either preserve moisture or to promote elasticity. I've heard of the towels soaked in a calcium solution to increase wall thickness. Would that be calcium nitrate? I'm just curious to hear what others are doing on this subject. dave=stewee
