Not one squash. I have a pumpkin on a squash plant. So I am out of the Squash growing contest.
I've read some of the diary's and congrat's to those that are growing so good.
Good luck to all,
Diane

Just ask Kurt Mombert! His "World Record" changed toward the "green side" the last fifteen days in September. ;>)

Thanks that is very encouraging. It is really round and around 42 pounds right now. I would love a greenie I think they are beautiful. I don't have any more green seeds so I want one for the seeds also.

The squash contest here wouldn't accept a "squash" like Momberts that year. Full true 100% green/grey/blue is the criteria, from a known squash producing seed, declared ahead of time I believe were the guidelines.

While we are talking guidelines/rules for the contest... Does the posting every 3 weeks rule stand?

Mike, are those that have not posted in the past three three weeks out of the contest? Just curious....

Good luck Diane and all others in the contest!

Yes the rule is an updated post at a minimum of every three weeks. So if someone cant find 15 minutes every three weeks to make a quick post then they would be out.
