hello everyone. well i was just in the garden and saw that the shrivled up skirts on some of the fruit were falling of so i pulled 2 off and found the ends were white and mooshy. is this normal? the fruit seem to be doing fine. it has been raining on and off since i pollinated them a little less than a week ago. are the tips important after pollination? any help would be greatly apreciated. thank you. cheers, mike

doesn't sound normal... but the "tips" are not important after the fruit has set and started to grow.

Mike,,I have had this problem for 3 yrs since I started growing.Put some sulfur or captan on it..Not a paste,,apply dry with a brush. If weather stays dry,,it will dry up,,if wet,,must re-apply daily in dry part of day.2 of my 4 fruti had this problem. You can also remove the flower after a couple days to try to prevent from happening again.Good Luck..
