Usually after I pollinate a flower, the flower closes back up. This morning, i pollinated a flower and it never closed. Is this a bad sign, or does it happen once in awhile? Thanks for any advice you can give me.

Yo Dave,
The flower usually stays open until pollinated, maybe the male pollen was no good. Not had one stay open after pollination before. But I tend to tie them closed afterwards to keep the bees out.

I never had one stay open either alun. I pollinated with 3 flowers and could see the pollen on the female. I guess I'll have to wait and see what happens. I be pollinating another one today.
