has anyone ever pulled the tip off their pumpkin? i was attempting to move my pumpkin over and position it better when i snapped the tip off...not too big a tragedy, i have others nearby which have not yet been counted out...just wondering how that would effect the final outcome if it survived and i decided to use it...at this time it was, of course, my best one so far..... thanks

If you mean the remaining blossom parts then the answer is yes, it can survive. i cut mine off intentionally last year when i noticed some rot. i put some dry sulphur on it, and it healed up really nice. Scott

even if it makes it to the weighoff and wins first prize at 1100 pounds, some numbskull will come along and snap it off for you! from age 5 to 45! lol it'll be fine, and good luck with it. 'pal
