Subject: 25' main, 14' secondaries-cut and bury??

It sounds like most of you are going with 25' main vines and 14-15' secondaries. Do you cut and bury the ends at that length or just bury the end of the vine? Do you bury all secondaries? Thanks Tom

Tom, I bury everything..only the leaves show..except where the fruit is and the vine has to be raised to keep the stress off the stem.

Tom, I usually let the vine grow 1-2 feet past were I want it terminated. The vine then is a little bigger at the point of termination and stays buried very well. I cut the vine off at a leaf stem, let it dry a little and bury it the next day. I bury all my secondaries..Joe P.
