I am growing a Dill 1260x875. Planted 5, and one germinated. It is now growing well but no flowers yet. This is my first attempt.

What are the plant measurements? What date did the seed germinate? I am also in my 1st year of growing AG's. I am growing a Dill #15 (1060 Pukos x 846 Calai) I have only 1 plant to grow so I guess I'll need a potfull of luck to be successful after reading the enormus amount of variables that can take place. In comparison to other growers in this region I got off to a late start. I'm just seeing the 1st male flowers opening up this week. The tip of the main vine is 13 ft. with a pumpkin the size of a pea. Some growers tell me it's not a bad thing to be behind schedule a bit because low n slow with patience sometimes win the race.

there is always a chance... the question is at what ? chances of growing a world record... very very very slim... chances of growing a nice pumpkin by halloween to be the center of attention in your neighborhood... good.

Plant is about 12 feet long. Seed germed on 13 May.
One plant also.
Planning to grow the best pumpkin I can this year. I'll plan better next year.

If the plant is 12 feet long, you're pretty much right on pace. You should be able to have a fruit set pretty soon!

Thanks Smitty, It seems as though it is awfully slow growing after the long, cold, wet spring. Also, my vegetable garden is doing real well.
I have what appears to be 2 little females.
How about you Smitty?

I'm at the exact same stage as you! My main vine is about 11 feet long, and I have a few small females starting to develop. The one that is the largest should open within a few days. As long as we can get something to set within the next week or 2, we shold be alright.
