My 933 Pugh was the best plant I had in resisting heat/humidity. Yesterday, One leaf near the trunk turned a light yellow. Today, about eight leaves are solid yellow, no browning on the edges of the leaves. The whole plant wilted and the high was only 85 F. Plant seemed to recover from the wilting around 4:30 this evening.
Sprayed Isotox on July 2, last fertilized with just seaweed on July 5th. No other ferts for last 2 weeks. Sprayed with sevin on the 11th. Any thoughts? I will post a pic as soon as I fing my camera....Tom

As the plant matures, leaves around the trunk naturally die back. If you cut a leaf off near the ground, is it mushy? We've had a lot of rain lately,it could be some type of rot. I hope, for your sake, it's not.

Posted some pictures in my diary. I figure on losing a few leaves to age, but when I saw that large number pop up in such a short amount of time, it makes me a little nervous. Plant is on a hill about 8-10" high and 5-6 feet in diam. I will check for the rot once the wind and rain passes through. Thanks Kilr.......Tom

Is there any chance that part of the vine split? Outside of that, it looks more chemical related than fungal to me.

Nothing mushy that I could find. I did find a split on a secondary about 2 inches long, that runs with the vine. I also found an old entrance of something? Located on the opposite side secondary about 9-12 inches from main and only about 1 - 2 feet from trunk. Could this have been from a SVB?
All my plants (8+1) have been treated equally by ferts and sprays. So I would think that a few of the other plants would show more/less of the same effects.
