I think that Mother nature is really testing me this year. Plot #2 has flooded out twice this year, once when the plants were at the 5 leaf stage ( the plants went completely under water) & again yesterday. The rain guage says 1 1/2" of rain fell in appx. 40 minutes & it flooded out the patch again. The mains that were buried floated to the top & when the water subsided it wasn't pretty. Well things got all braced up & last night a severe storm rolled thru & tore down a few trees in the area, but the vines that were braced up were ok ( go figure). Going to get some pics tonight hopefully if the plants are ok. Plot #1 survived despite trees next door being torn down. I was bending the main to position a female about to bloom & it was going great, BUT somehow the storm twisted the main ( it's ok) & now the female is on the other side. I'm slowly turning it back as the day progresses. If nothing else growing these things teaches you to roll with the punches...........Paul
