they should have a page on this site with personal info (optional) with information such as name, place, years growing, pumpkin weights for years growing, garden size, age ect...

You can get all that info on the AGGC. It's well worth the $5 and there's so much stuff on there to keep you busy all winter.

Only those that have grown a 500lb pumpkin or larger are on the AGGC right? I think that would be a good idea but not sure how much time and work that create for Ken and or Dave.... lol I mean John! What do you think Ken D.?

There is limited personal info on all AGGC members regardless of whether they've had a pumpkin listed ot not. These folks need only have the $5 subscriber fee in common. Some of the listed growers aren't members. In which case not much data on them is posted other than the growing record. And their name doesn't appear on the members list.
Some people would prefer to not have their name & email available to all viewers. If this could be optional then it probably would be cool. Just don't want to scare anyone away though. AGGC is optional too.

The idea is good, other message boards use profile buttons along with the name of the poster. Under "user settings" you can fill in as much information about yourself as you want to, sometimes photos are also possible. Of course it´s all optional.
