Do pumpkins have a preference for setting on the right or left side of the vine? I have noticed something over 4 seasons of AG growing, it may be a coincidence but the majority of the female flowers tend to set on the right hand side of my vines (right side as you view the main vine from the stump). This is not an east-west or south-north condition, I have a vine growing east, one growing south, and one growing west and six blossoms are all set on the right sides. Same goes for all but one pumpkin in the last 3 years ????? Anyone else notice a pattern?

I think it is just like flipping a coin.
You got a 50 ~ 50 chance each time.
My first two flips landed on tails. (or the left side)
on second thought.... There may also be some environmental factors involved like full sun exposure.
