I am getting a large collection of pumpkin seeds and was wondering what is the best way to store seeds. We run a swamp cooler in our house all day so it is humid.

Mine are in a sealed container with a few of those silica gel packs to reduce the humidity. The container is right next to the ice cream in the freezer.
What's a swamp cooler?

I grew up with an evaporative cooler in Riverside. That was before air condintioners were built in houses. Dad either put it in the dinning room window or their bedroom window. So glad to have AC now.

Store in Ziplock bag in the freezer. Also, have a large dessicant container so there is no humidity. Bought mine at sporting goods store. Lots of folks use them for gun cases to prevent oxidation on metal. Once it gets fully saturated, can be placed in the oven for awhile and then it's "recharged" and ready to use.
