Growing rate, shape, colour, pollination date, no big rims on the stem... What about the best simptoms to recognize a winner among all those yellow basketballs?

Don, Pollination date, shape and position on the vine are all important. One has to make sure the fruit is in the best possible location for it’s future growth and know what area it will be expanding into. Also, I would pay very close attention to the fruit on the main vine that appears to be growing at the fastest rate, that might be the keeper..Joe P.
