my 1098 is sooo sensitive with the leaves. You just look at the plant wrong and the leaves burn:) Not from sun, fertilizer or fungicides. I used a formula last year with great success, water, liquid sopa, baking soda. Did it this year, burned some leaves bad. sprayed in the evening too. I'm afraid to put anything on these leaves, fertilizer or other spray, but need to spray against powdery mildew for the future. any suggestions? Jim

Jim, Maybe the roots are not yet established after the transplant. The sun is very strong this time of year. Try shading the new growth with cheese cloth or something. The new leaves on my 1098 are wilting a little on hot days but not burning from mild fertilizing or fungicide. Wes
