I was wondering if anyone else had very small amounts of pollen on their male flowers. I have six plants and have next to no pollen on any of them. Females seem fine, plant looks great, only diffence from last year is Warrior T insectiside, Agra-gro fertilizer in small amounts, and maybe excess water is the only thing i can think of. Thanks for the replies: Joe J

What time of the day are you lookng for this pollen. If you are to early in the morning there is none. If you look to late in the afternoon and the blossom is not covered the bees have stolen it. Timing has to be just right.

yeah--keep them zip-tied shut from the night before, and do your pollinations (or check the test flowers, anyway) like 9-10 AM or so once the sun has done its thing warming them up--like she says, too early? hasn't formed yet. too late? bees got it. hence, the need for zip-tying shut.
