Ron-
I don't know about the 845 specifially. but ..
green females doesn't mean it will grow to be a squash. Most all other pumpkin varities have green females then they turn orange when the mature. My experience has lead me to believe that green females produce a nice orange colored pumpkin.

Ronnie,
For what it's worth, the first little female showing on my 845 Bobier is yellow. Talk to you soon!..Joe P.

Ron,
I'm experiencing the same thing you are. The female on an 845 is green. The plant has dark green vines and leaf stems just like a squash. Even though I've seen green females turn orange later on, their as green as any squash I've grown at this stage. Alan N
