Subject: why does my leaves have some yellow in them

I Planted the 821 garrel the plant seems like its growing very fast and nice to me but theres some holes in the leaves when it first started growing and some yellow in the leaves could someone please let me know what causes it. thanks Marty

i'm pretty sure the weather in pa. has been like it's been here in southern n.y. cool and wet with little sun if we ever get a few sunny days in a row those spots will fade if after a week or so of sun the spots don't go away or at least get noticably smaller then it could be a nutritional defficincy

Could be the weather.
Could be slugs.
Could be worse.
We need to know what's been done so far. Fertilizer type. How much. How often. Pest control type, frequency, & rate.

The weathers been been rather cool here, the only fertilizer I have used is some osmocote when I planted the plant and some fish emulsion around the trunk once last week and Ive been using seven dust on the plant every week
