Most growers in our area (NH) wait until July. This is about the time the deadly SVB starts to emerge. Applications best in evening... Jim

You would like to be there the same week your target pest arrives. Not after. Local co-op folks should know. I've started here in So. CT. Cuke Beetles have been reported in Maine. Can't say that's the case in your area yet though.

No it depends on the Growing Degree Days. Contact your local AG exstension office. They should be able to tell you when emergence is.
