I am growing Casper pumpkins not AG's and I am starting to get flowers. If I pollinated now would it be too early to have pumpkins by Halloween. Should I pollinate as many as I can to slow down the growth? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

are you going for one or two really big ones? or as many pumpkin as you can? if you are going for a couple of big ones then i'd say it is to early... but if you are going for a lot then pollinate away. even if they are mature early they tend to stay well on the vine or you can pick them and store them in a cool dry place till holloween.
