Gordon,

I saw your pics with all those empty milk jugs laying around. I know pumpkins love milk but aren't you giving them a little too much? I suggest you start using whole milk instead of 2% in smaller quantities. Switch to heavy cream after fruit set and half/half late in the season to prevent blowouts. If the temperatures go over 100 then go with Breyers mint chocolate chip ice cream at the rate of 1 gallon per square foot. I hope this helps:P

I´d love to know which kind of injection system Gordon is using. I heard you have to inject the milk into the vines.
My method is different, I wait for vine splits and simply pour it in.

No no no, you guys got it all wrong, my neighbor says you have to inject hormones into the vines. I was thinking about getting some viagra and crushing it up and injecting that into the vines to help the limp, wilting leaves on a hot day. Any expert oppinions on this?

Am I running late on my "to do" list in the patch ?????
...those milk jug are for early season frost protect...
and they are still full of water.
it's only 92°F outside and will dip down to maybe 65°F
so I'm prepared just in case... :)
Maybe if i procrastinate long enough I can use them for
last season frost protection. :)
btw: all skim milk... ... pumpkins need to watch their weight.
... don't know anything about Viagra... except somehow i did end up with a viagra pen ... gave it to a co-worker
who proudly uses it and says - got this along with the free sample.
