Since the Pacific Northwest has had such great weather and since our plants are well ahead of the growers in the Northeast, why not just "toss in the towel" now and send us the world record trophy? ;>)

I like the you think Stan...but aren't just a bit too far north for the best weather like we have in NorCal?

Hey....I've even heard that the growers in the Northeast have even threatened the weather man with bodily harm! ;.)
They are so pissed off that the wives are reporting that their husbands are becoming hard to live with! ;>)

I would not count the Northeast out of it yet. I just read in the Karkle and Barbel Merchants Newsletter that grow lights, heating cabels and hot water bottles are a sell out in all Northeastern major outlets. :)

We would never toss in the towel, we need them to sop up all the rain we're getting. OoooH, that was bad humor:)....Hey guess what? It's raining today..Imagine that....Flora

Stan, It's going to take more than some steady rains to keep us out of the running. The record will remain right here where it belongs...lol gotta go plug in my cables, and add onto my tent covers, we'll see you in October... Jim

Jim,
This is almost as good as some fishing stories that I've heard! I've been watching last weeks temperatures from Manchester and they were similar to ours. However, this week, I see you "pulling away" once more to your usual 5-7°
edge. Let's see how the rest of the summer plays out. I suspect that you will catch up and pass us about August 10th. Then, we'll come around you and "nip you at the scales" on October 4th! How about that scenerio?
