I thought it would never happen...but it has. i don't think I am gonna grow pumpkins from now on. This year, all the ones I planted, are turning brown before I can get them outside. And the ones I have outside, are just falling over and dying. Everything i try to do won't work so I think I might just stop growing them...

uhhh, you cut that out! there must be a reason for all the bad stuff, and once you find out what the reasons are, you will conquer them! Boily was not going to plant the 845 this past year because of his imperfect soil report. SOMEBODY talked him into it. he had the Australian record at 950.4 because he grew it in spite of his circumstances. GO BOILY! sounds almost like GO BOCKY! please keep growing! and heed the advice i know you'll get a lot of! 'pal

bocky you have to get a tissue sample to your nearest testing facility (a lot of colleges can do it) then when they tell you what you need the fun you will have shall be unmeasurable. but know this that even the best growers still lose plants and pumpkins quit often

Get your chin up and start over. do you need seed? We can have it to you by Monday. I bet it's all the rain. First season I put down 24 plants, worked my butt off on every one. Best I got was about 4 aborts. not ONE pumpkin. Not one. plants grew all season and eventually started dying out one by one.
If you need see, drop me an e-mail. Might not be from a 1000 pounder, but right now my best plants are 575 Dills. Growing like fire.

Actually I do need seeds. The plants that are growing...well dying are the giant pumpkin seeds that I received and now they are about dead, leaving me with no more giant pumpkin seeds, which in return, give me no giant pumpkins.
