From what I understand, the yellow stems and vines some plants have is genetics and nothing to worry about. I think it is common in the 825 Shymanski line (which would include 801.5 Stelts etc). I think I remember kilr saying something about it. My 825 Shymanski had these last year.....I'm waiting to see if my 637 Richey has the same trait. Hey kilr, refresh my memory on this one!

Yup you and Glenn are correct. ...same is ture with yellow and green females- it's just genetics. Most are yellow, some are green. My experience says that that green one will end up a darker orange color at the end of the season.

Sorry for the delay, I was out back with my witch doctor trying to stop the rain! I initially panicked when all my 801 vines were yellow, you don't have to worry until they turn brown and mushy! (Heaven forbid!)
