It hit 91° today in Puyallup setting a new record. It appears that we have been a giant "heat sink" pulling the warm temperatures away from the East Coast. Hey....we've got to get that World Record back somehow! :>)

Last time we had a spring like this, Geneva pulled her 1262 from the patch, along with a 922, 1111, and a 1144. We still have 100 or so days to go though.

We set a new record 2 weeks ago 101.7. Hanging in the high 50' low 60's at night already.

We are running 10 degrees or more each day than the norm. It has been average 102-111. Must be the ozone.

Stan, Hey, you guys had the world record growing temp's a couple years ago, it's out turn, lol! I do believe it's time for New York State to get a little of that nice pumpkin growing weather for a change, don't ya think? I fear it will never happen:( Hope the PNW growers and others ride the good weather wave to record breaking weights...Joe P.

Ya, its been hot. Actually, on the ozone, last I heard new photo graphs from space actually showed that the hole in the ozone layer had gotten smaller, a lot smaller.
