OKay this is one i havent seen. i noticed the cots on one of my plants having not seen the sun for a few days, are now starting to point upward. they are currently in a "V" shape. Ive never seen this before, and im assuming it has to do with light. Anyone else ever have this before?, what was the outcome? the plant is otherwise growing normally considering its age and weather conditions. i have seen leaves cup up at night when the plant is slightly larger, but this is the first time ive ever seen cots do this. im assuming that once the sun comes out again, if it ever does, then the leaves will then spread back out, but i dont know since ive never seen this happen before.

Scott, I had this on my Nesbitt 845, the cots were almost balled up & would not open completely. This went on for 2 days while the cots on my Bobier 845 were open nicely. Well today after they have been outside for 24 hours the cots on the Nesbitt are spread wide open & allowing the 1st true leaf to emerge ( the sun was out all day)........Hope this helps a little........Paul

Ah Scotty no need to worry....even if the plant turns around and grows nicely chances are you'll either break the main tip off while digging constantly looking for the first female....or step on it or whatever....LOL!!! Seen it before and yes they normally spreadout thru time.....I believe what you are experiencing is something different then the "damaged seedling leaves" that we have all seen before..I assume they look fine just pointing up. ?correct?

damn it dan, stop giving away my secrets! only you and i , and rock know that really big pumpkins come from plants where the growers snap the main vine cross ways, whether it be intentional, or by accident! LOL.......yeah the cots look normal otherwise just pointing up at this point, which they didnt do until it starting being rainy and cold out.
