Did anyone read the article in the Bangor news (posted in the news section here) about the pumpkin mistrial. It seems you can not shoot a gun in the air to scare tresspassers off your property. Bull sh*&^ I say! A man is criminally charged with protecting his property...I have a problem with that!

Most surburban and urban communities have a no fire arm discharge law on the books. The old rule of thumb is if you shoot it must be in proven self defense and the back room chatter is that the sucker better be dead so he can not talk.
