My plants are having male flowers. Should I cull them so the plant has more energy to grow?

some people do, most people don't ... it takes some time and I think most people don't think there is any reward for the effort. gordon

i would not cull any male flowers until you have a pumpkin on that is a keeper. otherwise your pumpkin story about the one that got away would hurt. P.S. the male flowers open much slower than the female ones, keep this in mind. as well i do not cull flowers

Young plants throw flowers when they are under stress. Something is not right Diane. Shannon

When you say male flowers do you mean you can see them starting to form or that they are actually opening and flowering?
