My 840 isn't doing anything either. All of my other seeds are doing fine!

I initially started an 840 as a backup. Right now it looks pretty good. Germinated fast and popped out of the soil the same time as the 845 nesbitt and 1076 werner. If nothing else, I'll put it in my neighbors garden and see what happens.

i had many germination problems with my favorite seeds (ok just my first favorite then third favorite..1074 calai and 673 kilbert) but my 840 was the first one up of them all !! then i started the other 840 i had and it too came up quicker than the rest.

I had 11 out of 12 seeds germinate, (including 2 840's). They do seem to be slow growers, though. My head hurts from banging it against the wall, which seed didn't germinate? The 705 Stelts!

I had 10 out of 12 seeds germinate. I opened the other two after a week and they had spoiled. They were out of a 695 and a 630.

My 840 germinated and came on up fine. In the ground now, as two days ago so we'll see. Out of my 5 competition starts, the 845 nesbitt seems to be the slowest..

Ive had some germination problems too. The 840 came up fast. I have a two more that are coming up slow. I suspect that I have maybe kept them to wet. The heat has been around 85 to 90. I had 7 started . Right now it looks like i will have 5 to plant.

Well my second go around in the germination box has yielded so far a 1262 Emmons, 580 Weir, 651 Gadberry, 695 Handy; and I think the 869.5 Calia is poking up! I think its to late in the season to start more (Hee, Hee, Hee).....

I've had some germination problems so far that I attribute to overfiling.

I will never file again.....

Both my 840s came up within 4 days from soaking. Agressive starts also.

Both of my 840s didn't germinate either. I thought I was out of the contest but Chuck is sending me another. Thanks!

My 1260 weir seed was soaked in hydrodgen peroxide overnight on May 4th and had 100% germination in 72 hours. If it would warm up and quit raining everday, i will be able to put them in the patch.
