I apolagize to my fellow Canadian who sent me the e.mail on hybrid vigor, unfortunately I lost their address. If you view this, I'm crossing the 1047(bobier)on itself, and the 723(bobier)on itself in attempts to purify those strains. I'd like to have a 'high and wide' pure stain, as well as a 'long and low'. In theory I think I this will increase h.vigor once outcrossed, but time will tell I guess.

Hey lookajook,
I was just reading your diary and saw the P&P seed packets. The other seed is the 893.5 Pukos,(723 Bobier selfed)Just thought I'd let you know. By selfing the 893.5 Pukos you would be further purifying the 935x865 line. But any crossing of the 2 seeds, either 893.5 or 1047 Bobier would purify the strains, as they are both totally 935x865 lines. Good luck!!! Either of your chosen seeds could pop you a very large pumpkin!!!! Just treat them right! Ben

Thanks 'Boily' for pointing that out, just looked quickly at the seed pack and thought it was out of the 723. Next generation self cross is actually better for what I have in mind, so it's o.k by me. (Sorry 'cowpie', if I "led you down the garden path", honest mistake. Will further purify the Bobier/Pukos though this year).
