Hi,
I have looked trough my squash seeds and would like to here your opinions wich one to grow for the contest - my area is very limited, so I have only space for one of it.
i have four seeds, that quite sure will be trowing "true green" -
536,5 Kaczenski * 2002 (771 Stellpflug 2001 x SELF) 411 Inzero * 2000 (535 Wolf 1999* UOW x SELF) 522 Wolf * 2001 (535 Wolf 1999* UOW x 616.0 Corkum 1998*) 726 Sellpflug * 2002 (771 Stellpflug 2001 SELF)
(535 Wolf 1999 is a 815 Anderson x SELF)
what (would/are) you growing for the contest?

Hi Grégory. if you want green, i will warn you that the 522 has a good chance of going bright orange. not really sure why, silly genetics stuff, the 616 pollinator threw an orange one, and the 522 was grown only once that i know of last year, and it was orange. i saw the 411 in person, and it was extremely heavy for it's size, and almost completely round. it is still rick's personal best fruit.
myself, i'm growing the 895.5 hester for the contest, with my 535 likely as a backup.
