No one talks about eating the Atlantic giant pumpkins, always for decorating or competition purposes. Are they good eating?

Very best to eat, we've been cooking with them for 4 years now. Keeps loafs, muffins, cookies moist a few days longer that normal, gives pumpkin pie some body and would probably take the place of carrots in carrot cake too .

We really enjoy eating the culls when they are baseball to softball size. They are similar to eating a baby zucchini chopped up in a salad. We also like them stir fried with onions, mushrooms, & whatever else we have on hand. We are fortunate enough to not have to use any pesticides here, so I don't hesitate eating them.

I am happy to just get Delmonte Canned Pumpkin. Now that is being a party pooper for sure.
